Florida joins Column Partner Program

We are thrilled to welcome the Florida Press Association (FPA) as the latest members of the Column Partner Program.

Florida is a key frontier for public notice policy innovation. This year, the state legislature passed a historic and significant legislative package. Column is committed to empowering Florida publishers and the Florida Press Association with the technology they need to meet this new policy framework head-on.

“We are looking forward to our partnership with Column as they continue their work in Florida,” said FPA President Jim Fogler. “The Column team has shown its innovation and forward-thinking in this space. We are happy to be able to tap into that energy and collaboration as we seek to preserve and make public notices even more accessible to citizens and in the format where they look for them — in their local newspapers in print and/or online.”

Column and FPA will work collaboratively on deploying a new statewide public notice database for communities across Florida. Additionally, FPA will help support Column’s efforts to expand adoption of our enterprise software platform across Florida publishers as a powerful new tool for improving the experience and efficiency of public notice.

As our CEO, Jake Seaton, explained: "Florida continues to pull us forward as a company. Column is so excited to help publishers facilitate statewide compliance with these changes, simplify the process, increase revenue, and deliver a powerful customer experience for the local governments, legal services, and individuals required to place notices by law.”

This fall Column will be opening a physical office in Miami, while we also remain a remote-first company. Our new office space was awarded as the winners of a Miami startup competition hosted by Mayor Francis Suarez and others.
