How to Sell Digital Advertising in 30 Minutes

Hyperlocal news publisher and creator of Broadstreet Kenny Katzgrau teamed up with Montclair Local's Annette Batson to deliver a highly polished and tactical webinar on achieving same-day closes with digital advertisers.
An attendee said that the webinar was "the most helpful I've ever attended and I've sold 4 ads since the event ended!"
The webinar was attended by over 250 publishers, with nearly 400 registering.
The webinar focuses on the LIFT system developed by Katzgrau at RedBankGreen, which prioritizes understanding and personal connection over pitching in sales conversations. The system, he says, "is just an outgrowth of the golden rule — treating people the way he would personally want to be treated. It's perfect for those who don't like selling, talking about money, or getting ghosted."
"When well done, it results in an enthusiastic 'yes.' It's obvious why. You learn about the problems somebody has and it turns out that more often then not, you have the tools to help solve them."
During the webinar, Katzgrau also announced the first free tier that Broadstreet has offered since 2016, known as "Hitchhiker."

Katzgrau followed up the webinar with another following day for the Center for Cooperative Media in Montclair, focusing on Media Kits, which he hopes to post soon.
