Saga launches ‘Cville Right Now’ in Charlottesville, Virginia, market

Saga Communications is in hot pursuit of its goal of having local news websites in 18 markets this year.

The latest to launch is “Cville Right Now,” which, according to a news release, “will provide timely, accurate, and unbiased news coverage for the community, highlighting local news, sports, and events.” Similar digital news sites have already launched in Clarksville, Tennessee; Asheville, North Carolina; and Jonesboro, Arkansas.

The site will work with stations in Saga’s Charlottesville cluster, which include news/talk WINA, AC “Z95.1” WQMZ, “Cville Country” WCVL, Classic Rock “3WV” WWWV, Triple A “The Corner” WCNR and Fox Sports WVAX.
